Quickly convert any webpage into a PDF on Windows, Mac, or iOS and Android devices using nothing but the built-in features of your favourite web browser.
Ever come across a webpage you want to access offline? Can’t copy-paste the content or find a download button? Whether it’s a detailed study or an interesting blog post, saving it as a PDF is your best bet.
In the PDF format, the content can easily be accessed, saved, and, with the content in a digital document format, viewed and worked with offline.
In this guide, we’ll show you the quickest ways to save a webpage as PDF using the different browsers below:
To start, open the webpage you want to save into a PDF file and then follow the steps for your browser below. Let’s get to it!
1. Click on the three vertical dots in the top-right corner of the toolbar.
2. Click on Print … from the drop-down menu. You can also press Ctrl + P.
3. Then, click to expand the Destination drop-down menu and select Save as PDF. Chrome will then generate a preview of your PDF.
4. Click on More settings to customize your output. You can change settings for the paper size, pages per sheet, margins, page scale, and background graphics, if needed.
5. Once you're done, click on Save and pick a location on your device. Click on Save again.
1. In Safari, go to File > Export as PDF.
2. Then enter a file name in the pop up that appears and choose a location.
3. Click on Save.
4. Select Save as PDF and a location on your computer.
5. Click on Save to start downloading the PDF.
The method above is meant to export a PDF quickly and so doesn’t offer up any custom options for your PDF output.
To customize your PDF, select Print... from the File menu instead. In the pop-up, expand the drop-down menu in the bottom-left corner. Select Save as PDF. Enter any PDF details or security settings you wish and save your PDF.
